BOMIS inculcates the importance of social responsibility through community service programs, as community service plays an important role in sensitising children right from their childhood.
π Athletics
Athletics aim at taking the physical fitness of school children to a new level. Athletics contribute to the improvement of well-being besides developing other qualities of life as self-esteem, self-confidence, self-control, self-image, and self-concept.
π₯ Taekwondo
Taekwondo instills a sense of self-confidence, discipline, self-esteem, and character among the children. Regular practice of Taekwondo would keep the children physically fit, focused, and active. Grand Master Lee says, βThe family that kicks together, sticks together!β
βοΈ Chess
Chess is one of the popular games in schools these days as they help develop critical thinking and reasoning. It also encourages them to plan ahead and teaches children that all their actions have consequences.
π΄ Carrom
Playing carrom can help improve logical reasoning in children. It would also improve skills like reading, eye and hand coordination, and visual perception. It stimulates the areas of the brain that are responsible for memory formation.
π§ Yoga
Practising yoga from school days will have a great impact on concentration, strength, coordination, energy levels, behaviour, body, food habits, self-esteem, and the emotional well-being of children. Yoga increases breathing and lung capacity. It also develops awareness of the mind, body, and breath.
π Theatre, music, and art
Itβs imperative to give a child a happier and more engaging learning space. A lot of emphasis is given to theatre classes as it aims at enriching oneβs capability to express and present their thoughts. To break the monotony of the classrooms, we ensure that such activities have an eminent space. The same applies to music and art classes.
π Sports and Games
At BOMIS, we encourage every student to take part in the sports activities of their choice. We believe that sports instill self-esteem and determination and improve the physical health of the student. By playing sports students will be able to enjoy holistic development in both academic and extracurricular activities.
